My father and I hit the water on Okanagan Lake today (Jan 23rd, 2011). It was a beautiful sunny day with no wind! We put in at Gellatly Bay and zipped straight across to fish the east side and headed towards Kelowna. We focused our efforts up top with a mix of Apex's and Lymans. 1 to 2 ounces of weight and sometimes no weight. We fished various speeds ranging fron 2.2 to 3.5. We cut back across the lake and fished the west side of the lake and made a few passes in front of Gellatly Marina. We spent 4 hours on the lake and sadly I have no fish to report. The SLUMP continiues but we have some pretty clean lures.
Tight Lines!
